Maybe a one time issue, but my brother wanted Carolina Crust for his wedding rehearsal dinner. They took the 25% deposit, and then cancelled my brother and his fiancée 2 days before the dinner causing them to have to rush to find another option. They still have not received a refund on their deposit. If you want Carolina Crust at one of your events just be wary.

I will start this review off with, we actually run a Pizza Restaurant! Now, out of convenience, my girlfriend hired Carolina Crust to cater a rehearsal dinner for her son and this was done in August of 2025. They required a deposit and it was paid. She later sent in another payment in January 2026 for a total deposit of around $2700 of the estimated total of around $4000. In April 2026, 28 days before the event date, Carolina Crust sent an email that they would have to cancel the event due to their "truck being involved in an accident" and that they would have to use the deposit money to fix the truck. They stated that we could expect a full refund, hopefully around June! We made multiple attempts daily to contact the owners, who never answered their phone, never answered their emails, never offered to assist with obtaining another caterer, never returned voicemails....nothing!! Since the cancellation, they have only sent one email stating that they were still trying to get the refund for us. Now, during all of this, they have never posted publicly about their "truck accident", they have not posted anything on social media or on their website that they are currently not ta

I booked my son's rehearsal dinner that is on May 7th last August. I received an email from Carolina Crust last week, 29 days before the event saying their truck had been involved in an accident and they needed to cancel my event. It stated I would receive a refund shortly. The email stated to reach out with questions. Since then, I have sent emails, left voicemails, sent messages on Instagram and Facebook with zero response regarding the $2700 I had already paid and need in order to pay another vendor on short notice. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Do not recommend. My fiancée and I hired Carolina Crust to cater our 80-person wedding scheduled for two weeks from now. When we booked them in October 2025, they were very responsive, had great reviews, and were recommended by several other vendors. We were excited to have pizza at our wedding. Unfortunately, the last time we heard from anyone at the company was January 23rd. Since then, we’ve tried calling, emailing, texting, and even sending Instagram DMs to coordinate logistics and finalize our menu, but we have received no response. With our wedding quickly approaching, we had no choice but to pivot and secure a new caterer and bartender at the last minute. We truly hope nothing serious has happened to anyone involved, but the lack of communication has been very concerning and difficult for us as clients. At this point, we are trying to get in contact with someone from the company regarding the return of our deposit.

Carolina Crust catered our October wedding and it was AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for making delicious food for our guests. It was such a fun experience and all of our guests had such great things to say about the "non-traditional" wedding food!! Everything was delicious!
